Just as the walrus relayed the finality of the situation to the four, eager young oysters he was addressing, it is time for me to acknowledge the end of my tenure as LSHSS Editor. I am truly honored to have had this experience and am humbled by the responsibilities given me over these past 3 years.
Thankfully, I was not alone. The “carpenters” who helped build and shape the contents of the past 3 years' issues included a terrific group of Associate Editors (AEs). Together, we reviewed more than 250 original manuscripts and more than 215 revised manuscripts (and we still are not done!). As you can imagine, these AEs have given tirelessly of their time and talents to ensure well-rounded, informative, and fair reviews. The following outstanding colleagues have been part of the team since we started:
