I appreciated your publishing our article entitled: "A Preschool Program for Children who have Communication Problems" in the November issue of LSHSS. However, there is one error in the body of the article that I would like to bring to your attention. At the bottom of page 56, Footnote 2 states that the Utah Test of Language Development is a test that is being developed by G. Woodmansee, University of Utah. This test is a standardized test previously developed by Merlin J. Mecham, J. L. Jex, and J. D. Jones, published in 1967. G. Woodmansee used the Utah Test during July, 1971 (page 57 of article) to determine the language status of the children one year from conclusion of summer school program.

I would appreciate it if you would make this correction in the next journal in order to acknowledge the true authors of the Utah test, and possibly to avoid my having to answer inquiries concerning a new language measuring device.
